+ cap and ball .44, but I haven't loaded or shot that in yeaaaarss.
Finally saw .50bmg (wdelak), I was gonna load for that but I sold the rifle instead, besides hard to find API bullets @ midway.
Pour all our own BP bullets, moslty the REAL bullets from Lee. Father-in-law huge BP guy has from .36 cal to .64 cal smoothbore musket.
Passed all the shotgun reloading stuff to a friend, I do his rifle ammo, he does some field and trap loads for me.
I've heard before that there are "gun owners" and "gun shooters". Guess we're all shooters?
All this talk about reloading...I gotta get going building a surplus. When the weather breaks the family will devour all my ammo. Mother-in-law, sister-in-law and wife go through .38s like its belt fed!!

I've got to get a 44 RB mould. When I left my first Troop, as a First Sergeant, my NCOs and Soldiers gave me a BP Navy 44 replica that hasn't been shot...

Sounds like a good gift Top. My troops only give me grief and panzy excuses.
Last time I fired c&b revolver at our normal paper plate on the wood pile backstop...Some of the balls would bounch back at us like super-balls. Cleaned it and put it away.
Pinetor, yer right, reloading is like .....So I suggest ya get the Lee anniv set from Midwayusa.com for like 90 bucks...and get started!!
It has everything needed to stuff yer own 'cept dies, bullets, powder, primers. Lee carbide dies can be found for under 20 bucks for .357/.38. I'm not pushing Lee...It's the cheapest way to try out the "hobby" before going all in with more of a setup. Jion the madness.

Dang, even here in America that is an impressive list. See, there's something to aspire to right there...always something, it seems.
