I have lost that little piece that stops the cylinder from coming past the recoil shield. Looking at schematics, I can't locate a name much less the part.
This little half moon piece of metal resides at the bottom left of the recoil shield. I believe it is press fitted.
Anyone?
PS: I emailed Eric at EGK.

I believe you're looking for the cylinder stop. Here's one on gunbroker, but you can get a new one from the DW factory for $17. Call the factory up in Norwich and talk to Priscilla.

It won't be listed on any DW schematic or parts listing, it was not originally a "part". This is a piece of the sideplate that sometimes breaks off. The part from DW is a "service part".
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

When you get that part, be aware that it can pop out on you again (a press fit part can unpress itself). Some folks use adhesive to secure it to the sideplate.
