I've had this kit for about a month and finally grew a pair and decided to tackle the project. Keep n mind that I have never done this kind of install on any revolver. It was much easier than I thought, largely due to shootist357's average Joe tune-up post and MrQuark71's YouTube video on disassembly/assembly of his model 15. It only took me about 4 hours to complete and test for function. The single action only changed by 1/4 of a pound(3 1/2 to 3 1/4), but the double action was soooo much smoother that it felt like the Colt Python that I used to own, but stupidly sold.
Next, I plan on getting the Firesight for the Ruger GP100 and installing it to compliment the EWK fiber optic front sight I already have installed. Then an EWK 4" barrel and shroud and nice grips. I wish I had gotten a Dan Wesson revolver years ago when I had the chance. Could've gotten a Model 15 Pistol pack(with all 4 barrels in a hard case)for $450.00. Of course, that was in 1989. Oh well, better late than never.
Thanks,
Garry
