Are the large frame Dan Wesson revolvers really that hard to disassemble/reassemble? I have called two different local firearms coating/re-bluing places and both will do the coating job, but neither one will do the disassemble/reassemble. Both claim it is too hard and will not even attempt it. One simply refused to do it, stating that it would take too long, causing him to lose money and the other saying it would have to be outsourced, costing me more money. Not being familiar with the large frame and not being a gunsmith, I don't feel confident enough to do it myself.
I'm reaching out to those who have done this. I have watched a youtube video on this and it doesn't look that hard. Am I missing something?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Let's just say it's finicky. Check out these threads, specifically the second one, which deals with the issue that causes everyone so much grief.
