I wanted something special - ivory grips. Of course I had to go with "alternative ivory" and this material was new to LB. After some research on the internet, I found the raw material and sent it to LB. He did warn me that it might shatter during the process and could not guarantee anything, but I was willing to take the risk. He made me a happy man. The large frame was easier than the small frame but both turned out beautiful. Here they are:

Thanks! The grip on the 715 really isn't a white as it looks in the photo. I took the picture in the bright sunlight. It's like the one on the 45 which was taken inside.
I haven't taken them to the range yet. LB did warn me that he feels the material is somewhat brittle and may crack under heavy magnum use. I'll report back after going to the range.
Also more on the 715 with engraving later when I can post some more pics.
