Actually, I have 2...

THANK YOU!!!!

I just received my grip last night in the mail (Christmas eve), and to say I was happy with the outcome is an understatement. I am blown away with the grip and the craftsmanship that goes into his grips.

I was originally going to order a "Shootist" grip, but decided against it as I though it would be a tad small for my hands. I was leaning towards the "Gripper", but thought tat would look too large on my gun.

I ended up asking him to make me a version of the Pachmayr "Gripper", as that grip fit my hand perfectly, but was a little slim through the middle. I asked him to use the same outline, but add in a little "meat" to fatten it up just a tad.

As for the wood, I originally was thinking a high-figured walnut, but went with a gloss-finish "tiger maple" (aka curly maple), as I thought the lighter color would look good on a stainless gun.

To say I am happy with the results, just doesn't come close to how I feel about the grip. The size and shape are absolutely perfect for my hands, and the wood looks stunning. The gun it's on is my Stainless Palmer Mass. made 715, in 357 Magnum, with the fixed 3" barrel. The holster I have shown here before, but please feel free to ask about it if you missed my thread and have questions.

The only thing  have left to do with this gun, is add a Fiber Optic sight from EWK arms, and then this bad-boy will be all set.

Anyways, here's some pics, enjoy the gun / grip! I tried my best to get the figure of the grip, but pictured just don't do it justice.

Very nice grip, I normally like a darker wood, but that really sets off your holster and the stainless.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yep that is another fine piece of craftmanship from LB. A beautiful choice of wood.

It's great to hear you are happy with your grip. Even a blind hog finds an acorn from time to time. wink    Merry Christmas!

Gorgeous grip you have there. LB keeps outdoing himself, one grip at a time.
