And away we go ... Guys, the wife and I are about to close on our new house--good news is I will have a 9 x 15 room in the basement as a dedicated reloading / shooting room. I'm pulling up the good carpet so I don't ruin it, and replacing it with 50 cent/sq ft office carpet from Lowe's.
The wife bought me a new reloading bench for x-mas that is still in the box--she got it at Sam's. This will be my primary bench.

Still in the planning stages for storage ideas (got some great ones from DWF thread). I'll also be thinning out my collection of reloading equipment--after 20+ years of purchasing equipment, I have quite the collection!
My biggest thought right now is what presses to bolt to the bench permanently--Rockchuckers for sure, maybe both Lee 1000's progressives, and for sure the CH 3 stage.
Let the ideas flow We can make this a DWF project.

Shoot,
If you scroll back to my pics, you will notice three drawers attached below the bench. These are invaluable for storing the little stuff like misc calls, spare parts for presses and instruction pamflets. WOW did I spell that right??? Also LIGHTS, I like lots of LIGHTS. Did I say that loud enough, I mean LIGHTS. Also I recommend a set of Tee Handle Allen Wrenchs. I use mine all the time. Oh yah, don't forget the LIGHTS.
Congrats on the house, I don't envy you having to move. If I lived closer we could use my dump truck, it's real handy for unloading.
Happyness is a Hot DW and a pile of used brass!!! Rich

Did I mention the 26 thousand pounds of "stuff" we own.... yes, you read it right 26k of household. Motorcycles, tools, lots of guns, reloading suppliies, lead, welders, etc... you get the idea.
I'm a huge fan of lighting--I usually spend the money and get daylight colored bulbs--worth every penny. The more light the better, especially with my aging eyes

Hmmmm......that sounds interesting.
I have started to build exactly that. I have the Leel 4 hole turret press, and can charge and prime etc all on the press. I have a 3' square piece of 3/4" marine ply that I have drilled out and mount the press on, and have a tube that catches the spent primers and drops them into a bucket. I either clamp it to the kitchen counter (I live in a hi rise, no garage or workshop 🙁 ) and want to figure out how to mount on my hitch. Love to see pics of yours.

Well, the wife and I have the keys to our shiny new home !!! I gave myself 30 days to casually move all my "stuff" to the new house.
As soon as I get the carpet installed in the reloading room I can get the project rolling. I have a design layed out in my head, we'll see how it looks when it is complete. The carpet guy is supposed to try and get it done tomorrow.

Well, the carpet is down and the sorting has begun ! The new bench from Sam's is assembled and is going to be great... The old bench will be in the garage. Here's a few pics of a lifetime of reloading... and there is still more to sort
The "seville"HD bench from Sam's-- I'll add a lower shelf to hold lead and bullets..
on the right is the portable setup partially reassembled... Now when it comes to presses you can never have enough... beside the portable setup...
Powder measures and powder scales... well you can't have just one...
And we all know dies seem to multiply by themselves...
Anybody with a progressive press knows of the addiction for extra parts...
And even thought the internet is a great source of reload data... I like the old data best...
Well, there is more to unpack and sort, and some shelves to assemble... Plus, I actually have to organize the rest of the house and the garage.... But, I'll be back in the reloading room soon

After moving out of my parents house I needed to start my own setup. This is what I work on. Unclamp the big boss and lots of room to work on stuff. I found good deals on the presses, scales, measures. Big boss press, reading measure, reading trimmer and reading scale on a homemade wobbly bench for $110 at an amish auction. The reading ultramag, ohaus scale, 7 mag dies and bullets for $100 off of a friends dad. The all-american press was a donation by my dad. His reloading collection would need many photos to cover and is the most unorganized mess i have ever seen. It works for him.
I have gotten a few good ideas from the other posts I need to incorporate.
