Found a DW hammer online that was previously bobbed and I thought I would try it on my Palmer Mass 715.
Got it in, and it looks different than mine. Not sure I can even use it. Can anybody tell me what it goes to? Stainless one is my Palmer Mass 715 hammer obviously. Other one is the mystery hammer.

I asked the P.O. about it and he said it was in a 357 Mag Model 15.
I did a little search on google images, and most hammers look like mine up front, but I did find a couple with the dip down. One was on a Model 15 in 357, the other was a loose hammer claimed to be from a 32 caliber Dan Wesson. Perhaps it is a very early Model 15 hammer?
Do you guys think it will work in my revolver? I don't want to waste my time on it if it isn't going to work.
Thanks!
