Good evening guys,
I bought this Craftsman Router Recreator earlier this year and want to start playing with it. I think the DW grips will be pretty easy to duplicate but I need a jig made. Basically what I would like to have is a piece shaped like an L about 20 inches long with two rods one to hold the original grip the second the blank. I would like for the end of the rod to be tapped for DW grip screws.
Below is a very crude drawing of what I would like (I only have Microsoft Paint on this laptop). If we have anyone that can do something like this I can get more specific.
Thought I would check to see if someone on the forum had the skills to do this before I look for someone local.

As I am so loved for volunteering people for work. (superdan) You do have a machinist here on the forum. And I am sure he can think of something that will work 788. And if he gets stumped his son ( superdan) can figure it out. I am going to go hide out for a week now...LOL
