Since my 15-2 VH6 has allready been abused by some previous owner, I figured I could try to make good some of it again.
So now I'm thinking about giving th "old gal" a little make over. I've contacted a nearby company that's specialized in coatings
So, the big question is: chrome, or chrome and beadblasted....?
To bad I can't set a poll on the post.....

Oh, and I'm also considering refinishing one of my other guns too. This is an old (30+) Baikal Margolin which I have started polishing of on my own. I allways keep them both welloiled, and here we only use handguns for practice/competition, so rust is no problem on them.
I was that one of them should get the chrome(been advised to take chrome, nickel isn't that durable/tough) and the other the beadblast treatment. Considering that the chrome mirror finish shows all imperfection, the one with the best bare metal finish should probably get the shiny makeover.

I really luv Steve's bright nickel and two tone look
The only thing you could possibly improve on that would be maybe a
blue crane lock, a signature piece that gets lost in all the shiny

Funny that you say this because after all was said and done, I've often thought the same. One day maybe I'll install a blue cylinder latch and a blue ejector rod, I think those two pieces would really put this one over the top.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
