I took my wifes 15-2 to a "local" gunsmith for a nice new hot blue. I am paying extra for a high polish (went from $125 to $170).
Now I work in the capitol city of MS. It was a 45 minute drive out into some boonies I didn't even know existed and I have lived here 40 years. I started getting worried when I lost 3 of the 4 local radio stations, but then when I saw the gubment project sign for piping in sunshine .. I KNEW I was out in the sticks. (pretty drive though)
Up until 3 months ago he had a 7 -9 month wait on hand-gun blueing. The guess is they are down to 2 to 3 months.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.
