Quick synopsis.

I have a 15-2 with a 6"BBL & I like 125 Gr Hornady XTPs at around 1350/1400 FPS @ 15 feet.

I have an older Dillon RL450B with the non coated powder measuring bars & I also have a Lyman 55 measure that I can attach to the dillon with an adaptor.

Sounds like I'm golden, right?

Well, not really I use H-110 & I'm happy with it's performance, but it won't measure for beans in either measuremad Basically it just grabs & binds up in either one to the point I have to stop reloading & clean everything every 50 rounds or so & it coats the whole press as it escapes from the measure.range-timebroken-computer.

So here's what I'm looking for as a solution. Is there a suitable powder for both the 125 Gr JHP @ 1375, & either of the powder measures. Failing that is there a decent measure that I can use to replace the ones I have currently that'll reliably drop 20 Gr of H-110 into the case, not everywhere else?

I also use a Dillon (550B) as of now I have not use H110. I use HP38 regularly and it

is a spherical powder like H110. So far I have not had major problems. The current Dillon measure maybe be an improvement over the earlier ones.

The load you are trying to make is a full house load and as 20gr of H110 is very near

a max load an accurate  measure is a must.  If you want to stay with Hodgdon

powder I would look on the Hodgdon reloading data web site. If not look Alliant 2400

as it is not a  spherical powder and might work better for your loads. cool

I have loaded H110 in my Dillon XL-650 measures reliably, but there is always a bit of a mess after a loading session, happens with other powders too, like 2400.  Its not a problem but there is a little bit of 'dribble' that occurs.  I find if I don't try to go to fast I get a cleaner drop.
