Hey Wayne,
My Dad and I bought the one I have used 10 years ago probably and I've just started reloading here in the last year. I'm not sure what the specific model of my Rock Chucker is. The only dislike I have about my press is that the used primers often bounce out of the little tray when you remove them. Besides that I like the press, seem really well made.
I think $45 is a good price and if I was in the market would not pass it up. I think I spent more for my used one 10 years ago.
Hope this helps.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY Jody.. that is exactly what I wanted to hear..
Having used primers "bounce" around is a bigger deal to me then some because
in those primers is the spent material that makes it a primer and that stuff can be very corrosive... and I have a small space to set up my press.. so over time .. that corrosive material can and will damage other metal etc. in close proximity to the press. I may just go ahead and get that press anyway and set it up in the garage and just do de-priming with it out there where I can hose the floor down once in a while.
Thanks again for the info.

I have a rock chucker and a JR press and for whatever reason i too have primer bouncing problem but just on the chucker? The JR press places the spent primers nicely in the tray. $45.00 is very fair for a rock chucker IMHO. I paid more than that for mine used.
