OK I stumbled across this on GB. A shortened 375 Win Mag will be a 375 supper mag and will not fit a 357 max, correct, or am I missing something. I started to email the guy and tell him but I thought I would consult the brain trust before I stated the obvious as sometimes I miss the obvious.

Either he doesn't know what he is talking about, or he is dislexic and has the '7' and '5' transposed. If those really are cut down 375 Win Mag, they won't fit in a 357 max, they're too large in diameter. They would work nicely in a 375 SM though.

go ahead and write him- he's confused. If they are 375 headstamp, and you want brass for a 375, I'd ask him to put a caliper on the length, to make sure they are around the 1.6" length. He is correct, in a way; both are the same length. The diameter is what gets you; .358" vs .376", on my examples.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
