Ron, I can never keep this straight in my feeble old head, the correct Ruger one is from the Super Blackhawk?
Although not original to the 15-2, it's much nicer looking sight.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Those Firesights do look nice. I'll also be anxious to know how they work for you. Remember to save your original roll pin from you DW sight. The pins that come with the Ruger sights are solid, a little bit smaller in diameter and a little bit longer. They don't work in DW frames. Post up some pics when you get it installed!

I had a set of Firesights on a Ruger MK II and visibility-wise they were great. In that application I ended getting rid of them, I hated the method used for elevation adjustment-basically and angled base that you slid the notched section forward and back to lower or raise for elevation, then tighten a screw.
I like the look of the Ruger one, may be worth a try one day, my eyes are only getting older

Steve- SBH is correct.
I've been toying with getting a ghost ring rear and run one of Eric's FO sights in the front of my 41 for deer this year. Just need the time. I think Eric's Green FO sight is the bomb and I currently have it mated with a Millet WO rear. Nice combo, but I think the Ghost Ring would be even better.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
