I prefer 1K but am only comfortable under 600m... zero at 100m so everything is 'up' from there. Berm is in the shadows between the oaks. Kinda drifting off topic but hey, it is part of my future reloading room....

I believe you guys might be a little strict when it comes to staying on topic. This is interesting stuff and deserves to be discussed. I think it's frigging awesome to be able to shoot from your loft !

Over the winter I modified part of the loft in my barn to create my new reloading room AKA the Man Cave. Not the best pics but here goes.
The right side.
The left side.
Still a work in progress, but as time permits maybe I can resume loading and even a little shooting from time to time. We had a reloading bench thread several years ago but I am not sure where it is.

Mine is still in the boxes, no place to set up.

Looks like the best Time Management idea I've seek in years!
Is the porcelain receptacle used to polish brass in some way?
I had to LOL with that one!
My reloading "bench" at the moment is my kitchen counter. I clamp my machinery to the counter with C-clamps. No pics yet, but you get the idea.

The left side. Those Franklin Arsenal tumblers are the bomb !
The tumbler works well, I also hooked it to a ceiling fan timer so I can turn it on and walk away without having to listen to it. It tumbles while I am in the house asleep having dreams of a Dillon 550 dancing through --- well you get the idea! LOL

Way, Way back in the very early days, I used a couple of C clamps to lock my Rockchucker down to the kitchen table in our one bedroom apartment. I needed to load everything I could in a couple of overnight marathon sessions while my wife worked mid nights at the hospital. My mission seemed to be finding a way to blow up my first gun, a DW 15-2. I failed, and that 15-2 is still going strong almost 40 years later in spite of some pretty outrageous reloading experiments
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

and got a C Mc 8 rd mag for my PM 7, was like 20.00 I think. Thanks though
I've dealt w/them via phone also, always quick to answer and helpful .

This how it looked when I first set it up, somehow it has collected lots more stuff. There is a cabinet to the side that has manuals, bullets, cases, more powder, primers. Also a tumbler and pail in the garage with a bunch of brass. There is also a really nice illuminated swing arm magnifier that got added shortly after I set it up, as well as an ultrasonic cleaner
It is a lot messier looking these days.
