I sent Keith some shrouds to see if he could do the DWF logo on a shroud with my "screen name". After we exchanged files and experimented with the laser guy we got it down, so I had him do 4 of my shrouds. Some form of I guess. Anyway I and Keith have the file if anyone wants to take the plunge. I'm not certain if each person would have to send a complete file or whether he could add a screen name to the Logo. I can find out and if need be I could compose the file and send it to him after approval from a member.
Here are pics of what I had done. The stainless comes up dark and the blue comes up light which I think looks pretty good. My lighting was not so great but it gives you an idea what they look like. He charges $35.00 for one and $ 5.00 for each additional one the same order.
Let me know if you're interested.

Beautiful, and the cost is very reasonable. I need a 6 VH shroud for my 722, I have a barrel, and I've given up on finding a Monson 6 VH shroud. I will proudly put a DWF shroud on it.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

All I can say is ...the shrouds really turned out awesome! What a great way to personalize your revolvers.
I do have a couple questions about the lasering. How deep did the laser cut into your shrouds? Also, I assume that the depth of the laser cuts be modified to suit each design?

Hmmm. The depth is less than the depth of the roll stamps of the original guns. I'd guess a couple of thousandths. If you have any of the newer (CZ) guns / shrouds they are the same as the caliber engravings on those. The logo is fairly fine lines and it is sharp as a tack. I really like the color it resulted in on the 2 different metals.

Guys-
It's important for everyone to know that Ed first got permission to use the DWF Logo. We all feel like co-owners of Dan Wesson Forum, and it is that Community Spirit that makes DWF home for us. Please be sure to respect the integrity of Dan Wesson Forum before using the logo or the DWF name in a proprietary way.
