So I have a new fiber optic front sight coming from EWK Arms for my model 15 porkchop and I need to install it. I'm mechanicaly inclined but have never installed a front sight like this before. I like to do things myself so I just need some direction. Im assuming I just need to press out the pin, switch the sights, drill a hole in the new sight and press the pin back in. Sounds pretty easy. But I still have some questions. How do I push that tiny little pin out? Do you use locktite when you put the pin back in? Im assuming the drill size I need is a standard one right? When I drill the hole in the new sight should i put it in the shroud and drill in a bit from both sides using the existing shroud hole as a guide than pull the sight out and finish the holes from both sides till they meet in the middle? Or should I just stack the sights with the old sight on top and drill thru using the old sight as a template? Somebody please help me out!!! Im sure others have done this and can give me some direction. HELP!!!!

all you should have to do is unscrew the small allen head screw out from the front of the barrel shroud and push the front sight towards the front of the shroud and it'll tip out. The pin does NOT need to be removed, no holes need to be drilled. super easy to do, the allen wrench size is .050 (super tiny)

15 chop -- probably prior to the allen screw setup.
You just need a small drift punch (probably 1/16"). How you drill is up to you--just do it accurately. I'd test my drills in the old sight hole for sizing.
