I just have a feeling that the Hydro dipped finish on a flexible surface ain't gonna last.
Looks nice though. A display only piece it would do nicely.

That is cool, but I agree with the flexible grip cracking the coating. Why didn't he use a wood Hogue? That would last a LONG time.

so I sent him a question to ask...... How well does the Hydographic stick to a soft surface? Is this for show or is it durable and lasting?
His Reply.........
I had a friend of mine who carried a gun with my grips on for 2 months and shot 3 times a week and the grips showed
No sign of wear. They are not indestructible you have to be careful and not drop the gun or be careless but the surface
Holds up well.
For what that is worth to anyone interested. Looks nice but not for me, I like wood grips on my guns.

I'm gonna watch this auction just to see what kind of interest and value is added to a Hogue by a relatively simple process.
