Went shooting Saturday. I let my buddy shoot my old 15-2 & he managed to get the cylinder hung up between chambers. I have experienced this in the past but I thought it was a trigger management issue. Yesterday I played with it to see if I could replicate what he had done. It doesn't happen unless you try to pull the trigger again without letting it go all the way forward. There is a point that if you pull to & let off the cylinder will stop very slightly in between chambers. If you let all the way off then & pull all the way through it will advance to the next chamber & work properly. However if you let the trigger go almost all the way forward & then pull back again it will go halfway in between the chambers in the cylinder & stop there. I have always regarded this as just a trigger management issue & figured it just meant I needed to pull all the way through the trigger & make sure I let it go all the way back forward after I shoot. It happening with him made me wonder if maybe this is indicative of a part wearing or something else I should give attention to though. This is not a pristine revolver in like new condition that I see many of ya'all post pic.'s of. It is an old 15-2 I found in a pawn shop in the late 90's I got it cheap because it looked worn & used but it has always functioned well & I like it because I'm not so worried about the finish that it bothers me when I carry it in the woods.

I have the same problem on a 15-2 that was factory rebuilt a year or so ago. My problem I will say is the first finger of my right hand. Ya gotta release the trigger all the way forward. Embarassing but there it is.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought that was all it was but when it happened with my buddy the other day I kind of got to wondering. It hadn't happened to me in a long time. It seems like I do have to be more aware of it if I shoot the 15-2 right after I shoot a semi-auto though.
