My 14 has the tiniest amount of lateral wobble in the trigger and I would like to make it go away. Does anyone know where I might be able to find some trigger shims? I checked triggershims.com and all they carry for DW is for the cylinder, crane etc and nothing for the trigger. I wonder if small washers from the hardware store would work in the appropriate size?

I doubt a hardware store will have anything thin enough. You could try the 10-22 trigger shims at the same sight or one of their other shims - be creative!

Good luck and let us know if you succeed cause someone else may need the info.

I have often found unusual hardware for projects and repairs at Fastenal

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You may want to look at knifekits.com or a similar knife part supplier. I'm not sure of the measurements of trigger shims but you can get washers in a variety of diameters made from nylon, Teflon, bronze and other materiels as well. Good luck on your search!
