I am not sure about finding lighter Springs, but have you considered a complete disassembly and polishing of all of the contact points? It is fun and will give you an intimate knowledge of your firearm?
I have done this on my two large frame DWs and on all my ruger revolvers which are very similar to Large Frame DWs.

I agree with this, with the proviso that I no longer own any large frame DW's, and have not done any work on them.
I have, however, done a fair amount of work on small frame guns. The thorough cleaning and fitting/polishing involved has always given me great results, it seems like what I really wanted was smoother, cleaner function. I did always end up with a "lighter" trigger. BTW, I have only ever used stock DW springs with no alterations, although I know there are other options available.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

No aftermarket spring kits for the large frames that I know of and agree with the previous recommendations. Reference the Large Frame Disassembly and Average Joe Tune-up (AJT).
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
