So I just finished off re-loading my last full box of .38's leaving 88 left to re-load. My stock pile of .38 target rounds now numbers over 1200!
While I am am still a super noob at this I have been starting to the hang of it. What has surprised me is the tools I have ended up using ( besides the given ones). Pines odd-ball re-loading tools:
pocket knife - yep just a regular pocket knife, makes pulling the pins easier, and just seems to be what I grab most often.. when not pulling on the press handel.
Old electric shaver brush. I use this to brush away all that powder I spill.
New-fangled LED swing arm light. Puts out a bright white light (needed by my old eyes) and mostly it dont get hot!!!! ($20 at Wal-mart)
Daisy seal-a-meal: I seal up the newly cast bullets until time to use them. They look and smell like freshly made bullets ( cut the bag open with the pocket knife).
Pelican water-proof box with silicon bottom: I dump the cast bullets out of the bag into this. Nice and soft cushion bottom, and it seals air tight.
Rechargable battery for the primer detector.
While I cant say its "fun" I do find it satisfying when I crank out yet another 100 rounds. Best of all... I now feel I can shoot on a more regular basis knowing I can always crank out some more when I want them!

I load up so much 9mm and 38/357 I store it in bulk form–empty small coffee cans, empty powder bottles with the labels removed, etc. I fill them up, seal the lid with rubber tape, and label/date the container.

Is this for finding the ones you drop on the carpet?
Nice, 1200 38's, huh? That's about 800 more than I have.
Total reloads of .38 will be about 1350. I also just bought 500 NEW .38s all in fresh star-line brass ( happy happy joy joy) and then there are the sundry .38s that are all partial boxes from the store.. about another 400.
But my NEXT big push will be to make up the .357's I bought... I have 1500 of those!

Pinetor it seems you are the master of the .38 and .357 mag. on reloading. What kind of recipe do you have for those 2 rounds. Like powder/primer/bullets and do you make any +P for your .38 and your max load on .357 mag. Also do you reload for the 357 Max? If so what your load on those? Let me know when you have the chance, thanks, Gary. Oh! If you have a spread sheet I will give you my e-mail. Keep them in the 10 ring.

Whoa... just the opposite! I have been reloading for about a month my self, generally I find others to do it for me. But alas, times change and I needed to have more stable supply. So, I have jumped in on my own.
I have only loaded my .38's, current conncotion is:
3.8 gr of Hogdon Titegroup, to a 148gr SWC (lubed and sized), mixed brass, and Tullos primers. While the titegroup will work for the .357, what I want for that round is more FSP with less pressure. Titegroup 6.1 gr with a 158gr JHP is only 1229fps but a whopping 41900 cup. For "lil-gun" you get 1500fps and only 29000 cup.
Actually I hoping someone here can give some direction for the .357 loads.
