I have the DW 44 and DW 744.  I've always liked the distinction of striped wood grains and have fallen in love with some of the Zebra Striped wood hand grips illustrated on this forum.  I prefer the ones with the DW logo inset and the full DW style wood grip without checkering.  Any ideas where I can get two?

Ebay, and not cheap (have seen them go over $150, and they rarely come up). Another possibility is to approach DW/CZ about producing a fully subscribed (pre-sold) special run. They still list small frame Zebra's, and large frame wood grips.

Before anyone contacts them, let's assess how many people actually want one or more. They get $75 for the small Zebra, and $78 for the large Exotic, so I'll pose the ???

If the Large Frame grip was available in Zebra for up to $100, would you buy one (or more)?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I think if we are talking about a production run for DWF members only they would do much better on price.  I have plenty of sm frame zebras, but I'd love a couple of large frame grips.

Mox,

That one will not fit a 44.  You want to find one for large frame DW's which are pretty hard to come by.

Good Luck!

I would be up for buying a couple but I think the $85 price point would be more reasonable.

I picked $100 as a very high end number, I'd like to think it would be less.

I'd probably go for 2
