Hey I'm new to DW.. did they ever make.. or do you think I can get CZ to make for me a 12" or 15" blued ported barrel in . 44 Magnum ?

Yes they did make 12" and 15" barrels for the 44 as well as all their other models. Good luck finding one. I have a mod 40 and the last 12" barrel I saw; went on auction for $490, which is more than I paid for the gun with 2, 8"barrels and shrouds. I think CZ will only do 10" barrels or shorter. I have fired a mod 15 with the 15" barrel and it was a tack driver at 100yds and the long barrel kept recoil down to 38 levels. The owner was trying to sell it with an 8" and the 15" for $550 back in 1999 and not getting any takers, today the 15" barrel alone could fetch that price.

Thanks for the reply and info.. I would think that CZ.. at some point in the future maybe, might, make the longer barrels / shroud.. I would think the
shroud would be the hard part.
I'm going to ask to be put on a list to get one if they ever do.. no harm in asking !

I recently contacted Keith at DW about getting a 12" barrel for a Model 15. As you know when you call up Genny and ask for one you'll be informed they don't have those however if you contact Keith they may do a custom one for you. They charged me $129 for the new barrel. Not sure if they would do 12" and 15" shrouds or not.
