I own a Dan Wesson 14-2 with a 4" half lug barrel and I was just shooting it today at 50ft using factory 38's and 357's and some hand loaded 38's and 357's and all of my shots were of the left by about 6 inches...I honestly have no clue why in the world this would happen...is it possible I re-assembled the barrel/barrel nut/barrel shroud wrong?? help please

If it were mine, I'd try different gaps starting about .002 and working out to .006, shooting groups of 5-10 each time. Make sure the barrel nut remains snug. Then with the closest to POA, I'd try different loads/ manufacturers. Finally I'd try a different barrel, if that didn't work. EWK sells barrels (left margin) at very reasonable prices.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I don't know if this helps, but, I have a model 14 with a 6" bbl. shooting .38s, it shoots way low. But with 125g .357s it shoots slightly high, and with 158g 357s its right on. Some of this is no doubt me, but you have to find out what your gun likes, as well as anything your shooting might cause.
