Looks like the .30 high sight from a 15-2 is just what I need to fix my sight issue I'm having on my porkchop with its new shroud. I attached pic comparing both sight heights. The longer shroud is perfect the shorter shroud needs a taller sight. 5/16" tall from top of shroud to top of sight. I like the colored insert too. Now I just have to find one.

Just found this info. and thought it was interesting. You guys may allready now this but if not, something to think about.
DW makes two sight blade heights for the Model 15-2. One is .250" and the other is .300". If you have the .250" front sight blade and are using ammo with 110 grain bullets then you can expect the point of impact to be pretty high. Most model 15-2's are regulated for 158 grain bullets using the .300" sight blade and for 125 grain bullets using the .250" sight blade. Both these sight blades can be found with white, yellow, red, or orange inserts so you can't use the color as an indicator of height.

I think I'm going to leave the 6" shroud as is. That way when I mount the scope I still have the option of taking the scope off and still have use of the iron sights. I like having options. I have an email to eric to see what the height of the fiber optic sights he has. Im pretty sure I'll go with the fiber optic as long as the height works out. Ive never used a sight like that before but sometimes in the sun I have a hard time with the black on black sights with the glare, so I'm thinking the fiber optic might be the way to go.
