Curious if anyone else has had this problem, seems to start happening after around 50-75 ish rounds of dirty .357.

Trigger pulls back, fires, then gets stuck. Today I had to pinch either side of the trigger and give it a little push forward.

Your it down, looked a little dirty inside, but no muck.

Any help appreciated.

Edit: Will probably be awhile before I get out to the range unfortunately, but when I do, i'll be sure to let'cha know. 🙂

Sounds like it might be you trigger stop screw may need adjusted out a turn

or two. Also I would check the springs in side while your at it.

The screw was pretty close, turned it out a bit. Dry fired and it didn't stick. Will have to wait till next range trip to be sure. I noticed that's a little bit of etching where it looks like that screw smacks the back of the trigger housing, curious if that's normal?

Springs should all be fine, they look good to me and iirc they're new wolfs.

A washer or 2 under the grip screw should take care of it!   Local hardware store though you may have to file them some what to get to fit!

Keep us posted!

Hmmm?  After 50 to 75 rounds?  Carbon buildup on the cylinder face interfering with rotation?  Might check the gap to see how close it is.

Sounds like the trigger stop screw was the problem, tinker with it

until you can get 50 or more pulls with no sticking back.

Cylinder gap is all good, the only problem is the trigger sticking at the back of the trigger guard.

I'll mess around with it later to see if it still sticks after bringing that trigger screw out some. It wasn't sticking the other day right after tweaking it, so i'm thinking it may be good now though.

Here's what it looked like before tweaking (and cleaning after range trip >_>) when in the stuck position.

I have had two reasons for this occurence. The first was after my first full clean/lube. I found out, through the wonderful members here, that these like to run near dry. I had too much lube and everything was sticking together.

The second was after the little cylinder tab/key on the side plate fell out. I tapped it back in and found the cylinder advance spring had slipped. Everytime I put it back the trigger would stick, until I held my finger on the trigger springs/levers and pulled a few times. Then I put everything back and it works great. Seems like the cylinder advance lever kept rubbing on the sideplate because the spring wasn't seated properly and would snag, catching the trigger in full lock.

I've been keeping it pretty well lubed inside, i'll see about reducing the amount I leave on / in the internals. 🙂

First thing I did at the range was pop the sideplate off and dry fire a few times. Everything looked to be in place, so i'm thinking it wasn't a problem with the spring / tab.

Hasn't locked up on me since bringing that trigger screw out a bit. So i'm hoping that was the only problem. 🙂
