Can anyone tell me the size and/or where to get a trigger stop screw for my 15-2? It is the one that screws into the back of the actual trigger, not the one that screws through the trigger guard.

Thanks

You need a 4-40 x 5/16 set screw, check hardware store or maybe

your local gunshop.

Numrich gun parts dose have what you need but at $7 plus shipping :

If you can find it local it should cost $1 or less. goodluck

According to one of the manual's parts drawing the front site screw is the same as the trigger stop screw. Part#40

http://www.gunreports.com/media/newspics/0308-AG0307_p5_Dan-WessonRevolve.jpg

Its available at EWK for $2.00USD

Tampa is right, front sight screw and trigger stop screw that is in trigger

type is showing the same. But the diagram Tampa posted is for the later

15 that had the stop in the frame. Here is the correct diagram. You could

confirm screw size with Eric and see if you can get it local.

Doh!.broken-computer

Right screw, wrong diagram!

You could do what I had to do to find my frame mounted trigger screw.

Disassemble the revolver and take the trigger to lowes( I'm a home depot person myself)..I digress, take the trigger to lowes, they have a way larger specialty screw selection and start trying to thread. you may even find one in stainless if thats your thang.

My screw was bubba'd up by a previous owner with some needle nose pliers.

either way you have some choices now.

Good luck.
