Ahhh, so those were available for under $1K originally...good to know.
That ad also explains the comemmorative serial numbering a bit too, that's also good to know. Now if I can just remember it.

Nice looking 44 ... I guess I could add one more to my collection but then again I would be hard-pressed not to take it to the range! I already have a wall-hanger.
