Ok, I guess I've kept everyone in suspense long enough, here she is.001-1.JPGImage Enlarger

005.JPGImage Enlarger

A complete, pristine 32 IMHSA Field Pistol pac.  And I do mean COMPLETE, both shrouds 8VH-S, grippers with Dan Wesson medallions, patch, factory barrel tool and shim, a set of EWK tools and spare barrel nuts, belt buckle, instruction book, spare walnut grip with Dan Wesson box, Leupold FX-11 scope with some of the sharpest optics I've ever seen and even the pac keys, all in a fantastic original brown case with label matched to the gun!  The fabric inside is awesome clean and even the case has the elusive plastic thingy under the handle and no cuts or dings.  The two white marks in the first pic look like they will wipe right off, its just the way I picked it up, I didn't even wipe anything off.
The gun itself has a faint Barney hue on the frame but not bad at all.  Its been fired but I doubt its ever seen a competition, the recoil shield has almost no signs of being fired and the cylinder has no turn ring.  I think somebody bought this and it became a safe queen.

The serial number is a bit interesting to me, IFP007XA, x of course is a number.  I've never seen a Dan revolver with a letter suffix on it.

I can't believe I found this within an easy drive from my house, its great!laugh
Only thing is I may have to sell my other blue Monson 32 nowcry.

BTW some anti corrosion paper found under the foam is dated 1979.

That is awesome. I am craving a .32  mag now. Bought a NEF R73 that shoots 32h&r. Love the cartridge, wish the gun was a dan. Congradulations on your find and your forgiven for the suspense.

Awesome find. surprised

I've never seen a Dan revolver with a letter suffix on it.

The A suffix means there is a matched revolver out there of a different caliber. I have seen (A) and (B) sets a few times.

Congrats!!  worship

Now the challenge. Find it's sister!  poke
