I need some HELP . I have this DW 22 Mag with a 6VH barrel and I sent it to Keith for a tune up and new rear sight. I told him I was having bullet tumbling problems as well as accuracy problems. When I got it back he included a target with no tumbling indicated. He said it seemed to shoot okay. Well, so I go shoot it last night and holy cow it looks like I was shoot 1" screws at the target with a scatter gun. Slots all over the place. I got that result from Remington 22 win mag / 40 gr JHP and CCI 22 WMR 40 gr TMJ. The only ammo that did not tumble was Federal win mag 50 gr JHP, but accuracy was bad. I don't know if the barrel is bad or what. I set the barrel/ cylinder gap pretty tight, about .002". Had it at .006" before I sent it out but that doesn't seem to make a difference. It was bad with that setting also. I don't know how much use it had before I bought it back in June.
I have a Ruger single six 22 mag and it is super accurate. Anybody have any ideas chime in please. Thanks,
Ed
