New here and don't have a clue. But very much interested. So here goes,,, picked up and handled a Dan Wesson .22 revolver at a gun show recently. Liked it, but don't know anything about Dan Wessons except you can change out the barrels and set the cylinder gap and a few other things. This one had a 6" barrel in, I'd say, 95% condition with absolutely no tools or boxes or anything not even the barrel wrench. Just the gun. I was kind of interested, but don't see enough of them around to know if it as a fair price or not. He was asking $500. Have heard that at one time guys liked them for metallic silhouette shooting with the center fire guns. Do the .22's have an accuracy reputation like the .357's? Thanks in advance for any information you can pass along to me. It's appreciated. RRM

They are very good guns to have and fun to shoot. Mine is as accurate as my .357 Magnum & Maximum. I actually own 3 on the 22lr revolvers. 2 blued ones that are fun shooters when just needing the plink around and have fun & have an 722 pistol pack. I think $500 is a little high without a box or tools. I have paid $400 & $425 for my two blues ones. The most I would pay would be $425 without the tools or box.
