Has anyone tried mounting a red dot with .22 cal dovetail (3/8" rail) rings on the DW rail (vent rib)?

yes I have with no success. luckliy I came across some DW rings for cheap.

Thanks for the help on this one, and the link to the thread. Have been looking for a no drill mount of some type for a while without success, but the "look for" list is a little longer now.
