Anyone with history or experience with DW .22's?
-Are they generally equivalent to the model 15 I'm familiar with?
-Accuracy?
Anything to watch out for when purchasing?
I passed on one recently because I didn't know much about them, and I want to be more prepared next time-I think I goofed not picking one up when I had the chance.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have a DW model 722 which is the stainless version. The 22 is actually the same size as the Model 15 that you are use to. The one I have shoots as good as my uncles S&W 617.
I was actually able to pickup a 6HV barrel and an a 8HV barrel at a show this weekend for $175 for the pair. I was very pleased with this deal. These are the older ones where the information in stamped not laser etched.
How much was the one you passed on?

Sure would like to find one for that price for a plinker.
What I can't understand is why they will only sell a cylinder to a FFL, the lady at DW said they had too much trouble with people having problems making the conversions. What the devil is so hard about changing a cylinder, or is DW's that much different from other revolvers?

I passed on the last one because I didn't know much about them. That's a mistake I won't make again, because I love shooting .22lr A LOT, and I'm sold on the DW platform.

Took the cylinder out of the frame and it was actually quite simple. Not sure why DW says it is difficult, takes less then 5 minutes to take out and put back in with arthritic hands.
If I fail to find a 22 at a reasonable price ($300-$350) then I will order the barrel & cylinder for about $275 from DW and be done with looking.
