Wrong makes and wrong time for you, otherwise I'd push for you to buy 2 of them and know they got a good home with a future.
Yep, my boat has me broke! Stupid thing doesn’t wanna run and I’ve already thrown hundreds of $$ at it in parts. Just bought a fuel rail pressure tester for $63. Hopefully I can figure out if it’s my fuel pump or the regulator as root cause Putting new plugs in it this week too once they’re delivered. I’m probably not gonna have any $$ for guns til this winter…or possibly next year. 😟

I am not a SA only fan but that full Lug 4" is very sweet. As is the Outdoorsman.
I used to live 50+ miles from where I am now and there were really no mom/pop gun stores anywhere near me and I'd have a 40 mile drive one way to my preferred FFL for transfers, used to only be 5 miles till I moved out to the boonies. That was back when I was still very actively adding to my collection. Someone told me about a small place about 15 miles away so I drove there to check it out and ask the owner about transfers. He hated doing them, money being the main reason. He was the type FFL where money is the #1,2,3 most important things. He did say, old collectables were different, he had no problem transferring them. I used him twice for transfers, and the third one I had was my S&W 125 anniversary 45 colt. When I went there to get it, I looked around and saw the used .22 smith in his case, with a not very bad price tag on it. It stood out from flavor of the day stuff which is 99% of what he had. He pulled it out and it just felt right in my hand, I asked him if he had any spent .22's or snap cap I could put in it to try the trigger. He quickly handed me some spent 22 shells. I tried the double action, and it was smooth, a bit heavier than it needed to be but way smoother than almost any smith from the 80's ever was. Tried the single action and it was really good, I was guessing it was no more than 3lb and crisp. Now that I have had it for years, I know it is 4lb 2 oz. If you ever felt a good trigger, you know they feel way lighter in pull than they actually are. I made him an offer and he didn't say no, didn't say yes either but he was thinking about it.
So he went to get the box my 45 colt came in, he hadn't opened it yet since he called me when it arrived and I told him I'd be out that day. When he saw what I had, he offered me almost 50% more than I spent on it and throw in the .22 also. Turns out he had a customer with deep pockets that was not the brightest bulb who had been looking for one. I said no, but thanks for the offer. He said the offer stands if I change my mind and he accepted my offer on the .22.
I was just happy to actually buy something from him given how much he disliked doing transfers. he only charged me 15 dollars a transfer on old collector's items. His normal transfer fee was 50 dollars, 17-18 years ago.
Of course, the pre-war k22 has a superior trigger. That goes without saying.
