I've been reading up on DW 22s and while I can find some 22LR guns for sale, I haven't seen any DW 22Mags. I've read that they were made but must be rare. I think I remember someone on this forum stating that they were going to modify a DW 22LR cylinder to handle 22 mag. Aside from overboring the cyl. where can one find DW 22mag barrels?
Not that I want to do this conversion, but its a good mental challenge.

Yes, the .22 Mag is much more elusive than the standard .22 LR, but it's not "unobtanium" so far. However they ain't necessarily cheap. You just have to bide your time to find one of the elusive little buggers.
Here's a shot of a 722M in found in captivity not long ago on GB…
And yes, it was part of a PP. It eventually went for over $3K last April…
I bet there's not many Smiff 22's that command a $3K price tag these days.
