"Dan Wesson revolver in 30-40 Krag value
Just like the title says looking on value for this revolver that a co-worker is thinking of trading for. He says its stainless double action 8 inch barrel in 30-40 Krag ported barrel Limited edition of 50. I can't find any information on the value of it. Any help would be apprreciated."
Poster was directed here, but never made it. Any one know it's for real?

I'm under the impression that the .445 SuperMag was based on the old .30-40 case; perhaps this is what the pistol is. I've never seen a DW with a frame long enough to handle a .30-40 Krag cartridge, which is a good 1 inch longer than the .445!

The .445 SuperMag my son bought came with information on how to adapt (cut down and resize) 30-40 Krag cases to reload for the .445 SM.
Pretty sure this is the only connection to DW revolvers
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
