Is there such a thing as Dan Wesson 357 Alaskan?  An Armslist seller claims to have one available for $700.  http://www.armslist.com/posts/268721/charleston-south-carolina-handguns-for-sale--several-guns

I'm trying to send him an email to get pictures but it doesn't seem to be going through.  I can't afford it right now, so if its real and somebody here wants it, buy-now.

I sent him an e-mail when it was first listed--no response.  May have to put in a phone call.

Smells fishy from here, no pics, email difficulties and a bogus phone number.  be careful.

We know by now that with DW almost anything is possible, but no pictures and no response to several contacts is ???

I actually have a way out there project of finding a beater 15-2 4VH and getting it refinished just like an AGS.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

What did they use to get that matt black finish on the AGS?

Yeah, but for me it fits in for 15-2, 715, 15-2 Nickel, 715 bright polished, all in 4VH.

You mean like this one? This is a one-off factory (Monson) set in reversing gold and flat black finishes with custom serial #'s JCPD-XXXX, manufactured for the Jerrsey City Police Dept.  The color combination is what I used as a model for the .22 pac I recently customized in hard chrome.  If you do one in flat-black you'll like it - they look nice.

I think it is something called Yukon Cote and IIRC Bob Serva is still using it at Fusion

Awww crud!  I was hoping for a 6" ported barrel with a full lug shroud in 357 supermag with that black finish and with ivory grips and silver DW medallions.  Oh well, I couldn't buy it anyway.

Harley, those are really good looking.  Thanks for the cool-pics.
