No bench .. but I have put over 400 rounds through the new 1/12 from EWK.
6"
.38 spl
158gr SWC
3.8gr Hogdon Titegroup
CCI primer
I tried a plastic (MTM brand) prop, but I was not please with it. So I have done everything free hand. I did test the barrel at 10 yards and at 20 yards. After that the test is on me.. not the gun.
I could discern no drop in accuracy, and probably a slight increase. Not so much smaller groups.. more like much more consistant (and slightly smaller)groups.
I hope that helps.
I future plans are to load my own and see if i cant tweak the load evne more so to the round. i also want to develope a bigger round ( 180 gr) for a .357. This should give me pleanty of energy to drop plates even at a distance ( 50 yards). i also know for a fact that .38s per above drop a hella lot at 75 yards, while the .357 stays much more flat.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.

My old hog load was a 180gr hard cast running 1300fps out of a 8" barrel. Not a friendly load and from was years ago. Still have a hand full and shot a couple at the indoor range after putting the 4" barrel back on. You could see the fireball down the range and had everone there look'n to see what some idot had brought to the range to shot. I do want to stay with 357 brass but do want to work up some hc lead 135 or 140 gr loads around 1100fps with a quick burn powder for a fun load.
