All of the above. I usually don't shoot too many 38's as shooting shorter cases can cause a carbon ring to build up in the chamber making it harder to load full size mags later. If you shoot alot of shorts, you need to use a wire brush and solvent and scrub to keep them clean.

If you are concerned with how "stout" of a load the 15-2 will handle, it's a pretty strong gun. Buffalo Bore rates the 15-2 for any of it's heaviest loads, and they push heavy farther than any other ammunition manufacturer. As noted, if shooting anything in .38 clean the chambers thoroughly and regularly.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
