[Image Can Not Be Found]Looking for info. I have my fathers Dan Wesson 357 revolver and am wondering if anyone knows aprox what year it was manufactured and even a value. He purchased it new but has no paperwork and cannot remember what year he bought it ( he is 81 years old and doesn’t quite remember everything anymore ). This is one of those guns that I will never part with and will hand it down to my son one day. Attached is a pic. The serial number starts with 108.

First, welcome to the forum. That's a fine looking model 15-2 357 you have there! It looks like your dad took good care of it. From looking at the serial number registry here I believe your revolver is 1977-78 manufacture. To see the registry click on FAQ's at the top of the page, click "when was my gun made", and then click serial # registry. A lot of good info here so don't be a stranger.

Your frame has a slight "Barney" or plum hue starting, which is fairly common with Dans ... some don't like it and others do, it's a preference type thing. You have a 4" Standard barrel shroud, which is slightly more uncommon than the Vented Rib, Heavy Underlug or the Vented Heavy configurations and is the most preferred length.
