Does the Supermag in 357 Maximum take reg. 357mag and 38's? Same question on the 44 cal.

Yes it will and same with the 44.  As many others will agree it is not highly recommended to do it though.  It can make the intended longer brass harder to extract if you do not clean the cylinder thoroughly.

I've shot a few Magnums through mine, but I don't know if I'd try 38's...they sit back in that SuperMag cylinder pretty far & make quite a gap the bullet has to jump. I don't know if jumping a gap like that would prematurely wear the forcing cone or not.

My concern with the .38 Special or .44 Special in these guns would that the bullet would get cockeyed in the barrel due to the long jump, and therefore get stuck.  The next round fired could have catastrophic results.  I have fired .357 and .44 magnums from my SuperMags and I think the accuracy suffers, or maybe it's user-error.Slap

I have also fired 44 magnums in the 445 with rather terrible accuracy.  It really has no merit to fire the shorter catridges in the longer cylinders.  It would make more sense to develop a manageable target load in the proper size cartridge if recoil or cost are factors in desiring the shorter cases.
