Somehow a buddy and I came up with a trade yesterday. I ended up with a couple, he got a rifle he wanted...
Here I am with my very first 375 Super-Mag. It's pretty neat. Included was at the box, papers, extra non-ported barrel and a set of Pachmayer grips. The serial number: SM0023
I even got some loaded ammo and brass (yep, actually headstamped for the caliber to boot)
Here are a couple photos.

NICE GUN! It looks like almost new. Great score! Now get some dies to reload that brass and you have yourself a very nice shooter there, I love mine.

That is beautiful. I have the slotted version of that on the 8 inch. That pic looks good enough to go into the DW calender. Submit it there. Keep that brass its hard to find the original head stamped brass like that. Congrats on the fine weapon. Some of the guys on the forum here may be able to sell you some ammo for it. Its a wild cat today.

Good grief man, you made out like a bandit, no matter what that rifle trade was!! Way to go!

Gotta second that remark, #1 looks like it's probably a sure thing, maybe even #2, too.
For the .375SM, the 8" slotted barrel is usually most common, so seeing a 6HV is quite a treat. I have only seen two before yours. Regarding shooting & reloading the .375SM, don't be afraid to ask in the reloading forum. Finding dies is the hardest part.
For me, the .375SM has easily positioned itself as one of my favorite calibers to shoot. Overall, I love it. Here's mine, this is SM0111...
Regarding the cases, I'm still using shaved down 30.30's for mine & haven't had an issue. One of these days I might throw in the towel & load the box of these...
But for the time being, I'm fine with loading the "halfbreed" cases.

Greetings
That is very nice !
Been a 375 SM owner for as long as they have been out. I should have bought a 6" also when they were easy to have. But back then all that I wanted was a great tool to bash 200 meter rams. Did not think to clearly about maybe a hunting tool as the 45 Colt RBH's did such a fine job.
Glad you got !
