Not sure this is in the right topic, just picked it up after a trip to the big city. Was killing time after doing business so I hit the local gun shop and the first thing I saw was a two didigt monson SM0005X 8"VS 375SM. only the gun $359 out the door. looks like frame and grips are mint but the shroud will need some refurbishing. I have two other 375's so this will be a restoration project to keep the 2 didigt serial number alive and well. 
Just had to brag to someone while I'm at work. 
. Maybe this will give me a tempoary fix.. I'll post some eye candy when time permits.

POPS what a deal, ironically the best I ever scored was also on a 375SM at a local shop. The deals are out there and just every so often one of us steps into one, usually when we are not looking for it. The time I scored mine I went to the shop for help in getting a stuck ball out of my flintlock rifle and there it was.....

your right there I was in the rush to town mode and then just wanted to get out of dodge, to get away from all the traffic when there it was. I'm on my night shift till saturday so the pictures will come. I was able to remove the barreel with eric's tool so that was surely a plus. may have to send the shroud to hot bluer for refurbishing. We all fall into one every once in a while, not as offten as shoot, but he knows how to get around! later I need to get bak to work.

just wanted to finaly show off the new 375SM 005X. I have been working on the shroud to polish out the pits, sorry for the bad pictures. No it's not a stainless shroud, just polished. also my colt diamondback that I picked up last spring at a real good price. I'll try the loading again.looks as though I can't get the copy and paste to load. sorry will try later for pictures
