I was watching a DW in 41 mag on Gun Broker. I really liked the looks of the gun and since I'm a 41 caliber addict I bid on the gun. I went to $1096 and change figuring that would buy it. However, I saw the gun sold for $1600 which made it way out out of my ability to feed my addiction... I am still hoping I can find another DW in 41 for a resonable amount... This DW addiction I have is getting expensive...

$1600...wow! I am also a .41 Magnum fan. My favorite is this 6" VH. It goes with me on every range trip.
WOW. That is a beautiful DW. I have one DW in 41 caliber with a 10 in. barrel. I would like a couple of shorter barrels but they are as scarce as hen's teeth....
Have a good one.

Thanks! I also have a 10" .41 Magnum SRS, a .41 Magnum fixed barrel Hunter, a 10" .41 Magnum Vent, plus an 8" VH version. Here's the V10 version, one of my silhouette guns. I originally bought it as a VH10, but it turned out to be overweight for silhouette use. Had to change to the non-heavy shroud.
Shot a 40x40 the first match I entered it in, with only sight settings for the 50-meter chickens. Guessed on the rest and adjusted the sights after the first hits at each bank after that.

Right, easy. I thought so too. The first match I saw was a .22 rimfire match, I had only read about the game a couple of times. As I watched, I didn't know that a couple of those shooters were big-time competitors who shot a lot of perfect scores. To me, it looked like they just laid there, pulled the trigger and the target would go down. Looked easy, until I tried it. My first silhouette match got me a sterling 3x40. Not as easy as it looked, but I got hooked on the game.

I didn't know where [and how] on the DW site to post these gorgeous photos of the .41 Magnum Fixed-Barrel Hunter DW gun, so I thought I'd tag along with Dean's post [after all, they are Dean's guns, I'm just the keeper of them now].
I saw these photos on our personal photos file and was drooling. No wonder Dean and all of you go bonkers for these DW's! After seeing some of these DW guns, I'd love to keep some to keep in the safe, but they'd bring a lot of money to me instead.

That is a real beauty Marilyn. I actually have one exactly like it. I don't think they made very many of them in that configuration though.

Yes, it is SCORPIO! I didn't see anything [yet] on Dean's lists and records that they didn't make very many of them. I just love it!
Dean's favorite caliber is the 41.
I couldn't figure Jody's system of adding photos, so I just found a link that Dean posted to and tagged along after him to add these photos.
Same thing with the 357 and 375 photos.
I also posted Dean's photos of his 357 and 375 DW's, after Dean made a post with photos.
I loved the 15-2 IHMSA gun that Dean has [the one that has the IHMSA animals on it]. Maybe later this week, I'll add photos of that beauty.
