The 41 Dan Wesson is at the top of my Unobtanium list at the moment... in fact, I have a stainless Ruger Bisley in .41 that I'm selling off to fund the purchase... should I ever, ever find a 41 DW for sale again...
I don't know why I've waited so long... I've always wanted a DW and when they came out in 41 I should have jumped on it when I had a chance.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I've long been a fan of the 41 magnum but I'm about to commit a cardinal sin...... I think the S&W N frame is the perfect platform for the 41 mag.
My favorite revolver of all time is the nickel plated 4" model 57 in the center of the picture. The extra wall thickness on the barrel just gives it the perfect balance for me.

Anyone here a 41 magnum fan beside myself? This includes any of you lucky lucky folks who own a 414 Supermag pistol. I have a couple of 741's and one 41. I also own two Ruger wheelguns in 41: a limited edition Bisley New Model and a s/s Hunter Model.
Greetings
I am another. Bought my first DW 41 Mag in 1981. I found I liked the caliber so much I sold off all my .43 mags (alias 44) & expanded into other 41´s . Even have a 41 Colt. Plus I am one of those rare 414 SM shooters. When I get back north next time I will have a 414 SM Contender & Marlin 336. Everything is possible if you just try harder than most.

I have a 741 PP with VH4, VH6, VH8, and VH10 BA's. I also have two 7414's, consecutively serial numbered. One has a VH8 and one has a VH10. A year and a half ago SMF made up some ammo for these for me. It looks like one of them will no longer be unfired sometime in the next couple of months.

Good morning
Bought my caliber.41 DW 8" in late 1981 to shoot silly wets for the 82 season. Won AAA Illinois with it. Still have it and it is still my most accurate revolver I have owned.
I also shoot a caliber.414 SM 8". With a 265 grain GC it will give about 350 fps gain over the .41 8". Definatly a step up from the 375 SM with the average 220 grainers.
When I get back up north there I will get some photos as my DW herd is resting wrapped in motor oil & wax paper.

But I can, you are all set. BTW-IHMSA80X80 is a rabid 41 Mag guy. He will find you.
Rabid? Moi?
The .41 is my favorite revolver cartridge. I might have a few of them around here. I did sell a Ruger Redhawk in .41 Magnum to a friend recently. I'm keeping all the others.
Oops, dinner bell is ringing. More to come later.
