I have a 7445 silhouette with the vanity serial number, somebody's silhouette membership number. I'm toying with the idea of selling it. Does the silhouette version with the vanity serial number command any premium over a standard 7445? (8" slotted barrel shroud, tighter than standard sight notch.)
General idea of values for a 7445?

Two or three questions. What's the ETG thing? Also, what's the model number. Most stainless DW's have 7 as a prefix to indicate stainless. Most DW's do not have the model number on the revolver. My late 445 Alaskan has 455 but is supposed to be stainless. (Has black finish over the stainless.) Were all 445s stainless?
Ethan T Gates was, I believe, the founder of IHMSA and the developer of the Supermag Cartridges. Those are 357 Supermag ( almost identical to Rugers' 357 Maximum), 375, 414 and 445. Gates recieved the first 25 of each model, blue and stainless and was serialized ETG and the number.
Dans were marked by model until the 15-2s. After that, one just has to understand that after the 15s the model number is the caliber with stainless having a 7 preceding the caliber. Since there was only one version of the AGS I guess they felt they didn't need the 7. Your guess is as good as mine.
Lastly, 445 is blue. 7445 is stainless.
