dwashas struck yet again.  I just picked up a very nice blued 445 with 10" VHC BA.  I can't wait to get it and take it to the range!  I really enjoy shooting those Super mags.  Until a year or so ago, I didn't even know they existed, now they are my preferred large bore choice for shooting.  Still love my 357s but the 445 is just such a thrill to shoot.

I'll post a pic when I get her home.

Congrats on the new acquisition.  I was eyeballing it early on and saw you were in on it so I didn't jump in.  You might want double check it....I believe it's a 8VHC.

I thought the factory box held up to a 10" BA.  This one sits in the longest notch in the box so I assumed it was a 10 but I could be wrong.  Doesn't matter either way, I've been looking for a blued 445 for quite a while and finding one in nice shape and at a decent price has been a challenge.  Thanks for not running me up, I honestly didn't think I'd get it at my price and was surprized to see the YOU WON message.  Can't wait to see it in person, hope its as good as represented.

Congrats on the 445SM there Scorpio.  The king of the SM's!  Don't you love the BOOM when that trigger is squeezed?

Love the BOOM and the FIREBALL!  Really fun to shoot.  Turns a few heads at the range too.

Just picked up the gun today, VERY NICE condition.  Its my first Palmer gun.  Lockup is tight and action very smooth.  Doesn't appear to have been shot a great deal, very light turn ring and very minor flame cut.  Came with factory foam box, compensated barrel wrench and gap gage, and manual I believe.  Supposed to have a box of 240gn ammo to but that didn't come with the gun.  I emailed seller to see where that may be.  I have some so I can wait for him to ship it seperately.  Can't wait to try this gun.

I guess its an 8" BARREL, as the compensated shroud is 10", so barrel tube is probablly a bit shorter.

I have a BRAND NEW 10" BA I picked up months ago just in case I ever got the gun to fit it laugh , so now I'm set to go shooting.

I want to put some wood on it as its wearing a set of Pachmyr Presentation grips now.  I think this gun is deserving of a set of LB grips, they will be my first LBs as well.
I'll post a range report as soon as I can find time to get out and send some lead down range.range-time
