New DW owner, I have a 44mag with 8" barrel and have 4" coming from CZ and 6" from EWK. Gun was abused in the past in that the finish is all but gone and has some pitting, so I am sending it in along with the new barrels to get matching blue-ing on them.
It will be a shooter, as I intend on hunting (8" and 6") along with hiking/camping (6" and 4").
Searching the forums, I was able to find several postings about speed loaders for small frame DW but didn't find anything regarding large frame speed loaders.
Surely someone out there has found a speed loader that works for large frame and has been waiting patiently for someone to ask the question......
Thoughts?

I thought forums were just the place to find answers from people that have them.My mistake.
I sense some unhappiness here.
Forums might also be a place to participate and offer information. But what the heck do I know, after all
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Google is a great place to gather some info and then verify with knowledgeable people here. No forum is going to have all the answers despite what some would have you believe. Everyone here has been great from what I have seen, but they all have lives to.
In your case contacting Safariland might get you to the answer quicker. They may have a cross reference of old models that they do not necessarily list on their site on on the packs.
I searched ebay and all the information you wanted is there. Ruger, S&W and Dan Wesson all share the same 6 shot cylinder dimensions. The speed loaders work for all. Everything you want is right there. No auction, just press the BIN for as many as you want. Many sellers, chose the best price. Or you could go to your local well stocked gun shop and buy them. Now, do you want to learn how to disassemble and clean your Dan? Trouble shoot a problem? We can help with that too but first research the forum for the information. It is all there.

Correct ... for members who participate in topic discussions and contribute content, we will bend over backwards to help.
As an explanation, many of us do not appreciate doing the research work and time to respond to help people, who just take and are then never seen nor heard from again. You would be surprised at how often this occurs and it wears us down over the years.
